For more than two decades, Contemporary Forums has been leading comprehensive outpatient pharmacology courses “Pharmacology for Advanced Practice Clinicians” for healthcare providers applying for or renewing prescriptive authority and or renewing their ANCC certification.
Principal Instructors, Alan P. Agins, PhD and Jody F. Agins, MSN, RNP, FNP/GNP-BC, have designed a comprehensive a 7-day course, addressing pharmacology and therapeutic uses of current medications used for primary care, as well as common clinical issues and concerns related to prescribing that offers up to 52.5 CE credits.
The course includes a Pediatric Pharmacology Preconference, planned in collaboration with a select group of experts, focusing on medications and prescribing regimens specific to caring for children in the outpatient setting. It also covers the California BRN Schedule II Controlled Substance educational requirements (included in the content presented in the cities of San Francisco and Las Vegas).
This year Contemporary Forums is offering four Pharmacology for Advanced Practice Clinicians courses in the following cities: Las Vegas – May 9-15 San Francisco – August 1-7 Las Vegas – September 26-Ocotber 2 Nashville – November 7-13
