The North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT) is the largest clinical toxicology meeting in the world. Overview

The North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT) is the largest clinical toxicology meeting in the world. This event provides ongoing education in clinical toxicology for more than 700 of the world’s leading clinicians, scientists, poison center staff, and executives. Attendees include clinicians and research scientists from poison centers, industry, academia, and regulatory agencies.

NACCT Main Congress Objectives

  • Examine unique patient characteristics to create patient-specific treatment strategies for poisonings.
  • Identify the environmental and global public health impact of e-cigarette products.
  • Describe the unique pharmacology and toxicology of medications used in transgender medicine.
  • Discuss the novel cancer treatment agents CAR-T cell and checkpoint inhibitors.
  • Discuss the pharmacology and toxicology of cannabidiol.
  • Examine pharmacogenomics and its application to the patient care setting.
  • Review the role of mitochondrial dysfunction in poisonings, current research methods and therapies available to treat patients with mitochondrial poisonings.
  • Examine the ability of acetaminophen-aminotransferase products to predict hepatotoxicity following acetaminophen overdose

Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

live activity for a maximum of 32.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for physicians and 32.50 knowledge-based contact hours for pharmacists. Learners should
claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

NOTE to Pharmacists: The only official Statement of Credit is the one you pull from CPE Monitor. You must request your certificate within 30 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to CPE Monitor.

Registrations must include full tuition payment to be accepted. Registrations faxed without payment will not be processed. Conference communications are sent via email. When registering please provide attendee's best email address as some emails are filtered and blocked.

Method of Tuition Payment
Make payment by check (payable to NACCT and enclose with Registration Form), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Purchase Order. A $30 fee is charged for any returned check.  Purchase Orders must be received with registration by the conference date and include the P.O. number, invoice address, tuition, approval signature, contact name, email address and phone number. 

To register, call Leigh DeLaTorre for tuition and CE credit for individual days. 

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by phone or in writing. A $100 processing fee will apply. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received or postmarked on/after September 4, 2020. No refunds for "no shows."

NACCT reserves the right to make necessary changes in speakers, topics or schedule. The most current program can be found at www.Clintox.org.

GROUP DISCOUNTS FOR POISON CENTERS EDUCATORS AND SPECIALIST IN POISON INFORMATION
Tuition discounts are given to groups of < 5 or more registering for the complete Conference and from the same Poison Center. $175 per person for 5ppl in group; $150 per person for 5-10ppl in a group. And more than 10 ppl $125 per person. To qualify for the group discount, all registration information must be complete for all group members, payment included, and forms sent together.
