Contemporary Forums is please to present the 2018 Neonatal Pharmacology conference in affiliation with The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children.  Since 1855, CHOP has been the birthplace for countless breakthroughs and dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine, fostering medical discoveries and innovations that have improved pediatric healthcare and saved countless children’s lives.

At the completion of this conference, neonatal clinicians will be able to:

  • Examine the most current ways in which to ensure medication safety in the NICU.
  • Discuss updated AAP Hepatitis B vaccine recommendations, dealing with vaccine hesitation, and current antibiotic dosing in the NICU.
  • Discuss prevention and management of BPD, including use of steroids, diuretics, and pharmacological and medical methods of management of pulmonary hypertension in infants with BPD.
  • Assess and evaluate controversies surrounding the pharmaceutical management of pain and sedition across the ages.
  • Identify the effectiveness and role of interdisciplinary communication in your institution related to the pharmacologic management of the NICU patients in your care, and ways in which to improve it.

Tuition discounts are given to groups of 3 or more registering for the complete Main Conference.
Discounts do not apply to the Preconferences. To qualify for the group discount, all registration information must be complete for all group members, payment included and forms sent together. If faxing, list all group members on cover sheet. Subtract the discount from the tuition fee. Groups may not be formed after individual registrations are received.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by phone or in writing. A $ processing fee will apply. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received or postmarked on/after December 31, 1969. However, tuition paid, less the $ processing fee, may be applied to a future Contemporary Forums conference of equal or greater value. No refunds for "no shows."
