This Preconference will focus on the opioid epidemic, current treatments and pending legislation. We will also discuss the impact of this epidemic in the treatment of other Substance Use Disorders as well as the prescribing of Controlled Substances. The neurobiology and neurochemistry of Substance Use Disorders and the pharmacodynamics & pharmacokinetics related to the opioids will be explored. A complex case study will highlight the various neuropsychiatric sequelae of Opioid Addiction as well as the pharmacological treatments currently available.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be made by phone or in writing. A $75 processing fee will apply. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received or postmarked on/after April 19, 2017.
