Anita Nelson, MD - Moderator
Dr. Anita Nelson is a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and has worked at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for over 3 decades. She is also Medical Director of the Research Department of the California Family Health Council. Dr. Nelson's research focuses on contraception, menopause and gynecologic infections. Dr. Nelson has been Principal Investigator for multiple NIH and commercially sponsored clinical trials totaling over $56 million. She has authored over 200 articles for professional journals, 61 chapters and 12 books. She is a senior author of Contraception Technology and serves on the editorial boards for several professional journals.
