From October 13th through the 19th we celebrate National Case Management Week (NCMW) and put the spotlight on contributions and commitments case managers make and their efforts to educate the public about their work.
Case managers are recognized not only by health care agencies but also by our government for their beneficial work and the value they contribute to the health care industry. These individuals are advocates who help us understand our health status, conditions of our care and available treatment options. Without their guidance, patients would not know which steps to take in order to ensure the best possible outcome regarding their health decisions.
As we take this week to bring attention to the important role that case managers play within the health care ecosystem, it is crucial to not just recognize them for their contributions but also help spread awareness to those who may not have had the opportunity to work with a case manager. This can be done by holding special promotions at your workplace honoring case managers or hosting a banquet or silent auction in their name.
In honor of Case Managers and (NCMW), Contemporary Forums will be offering $75 off the 2013 Case Management Full Main Conference. At our 19th Annual Case Management: Navigating the Current Health Care System conference, you will have the opportunity to earn up to 24 CE hours as well as connect with other case managers and case management administrators to exchange and share thoughts on the current state of case management.

The case management industry has evolved into a progressive and dynamic practice and high performance health care systems are facing reforms to promote value and incentives to coordinate care, improve outcomes and lower costs. Case managers are often considered patient advocates and with their assistance, the health care industry is not only continually progressing, it's growing.
*This special offer is only good toward a new 2013 full main conference registration and cannot be used toward conferences purchased prior to 10/13/13. Cannot be combined with any other offers.
