Mary Fran Hazinski is the conference chair as well as a speaker at our Pediatric Nursing: Acute, Critical & Emergency Care conference. Mary is probably best known as the author of three editions of the award-winning text, Nursing Care of the Critically Ill Child. In addition, from 1999-2016, she served as a Senior Science Editor to the American Heart Association. In that capacity, she co-edited the international resuscitation evidence evaluation statements and edited the AHA Guidelines and Guidelines Updates for CPR and ECC. Mary Fran has received many awards and has been elected as an honorary Fellow of numerous organizations. She has been named a Giant of Resuscitation and also received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the ILCOR International Resuscitation Council.
