Advances in Contraception: A Fresh Look at IUDs
This complimentary symposium, targeted for NPs, CNMs, PAs and RNs from women's health and family practice settings, will focus on the latest guidelines and clinical recommendations concerning IUDs to help patients achieve contraceptive success. A case-based approach to clinical management will be presented to help synthesize learning and encourage practical application. The symposium will be followed by Special Session B, an optional IUD Placement Training (tuition fee required).

Objectives:

Recall the latest guidelines and clinical recommendations concerning IUDs, to help patients achieve contraceptive success and experience fewer unintended pregnancies.
Evaluate the latest clinical data on methods of IUD contraception, in order to provide comprehensive and appropriate options for patients.
Educate and counsel patients who are appropriate candidates for the IUD in order to encourage fully-informed, optimal decisions regarding contraception.

Make payment by check (payable to Contemporary Forums and enclose with Registration Form), Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Purchase Order. A $30 fee is charged for any returned check. Personal checks are NOT accepted at the conference. Purchase Orders must be received with registration
by the conference date and include the P.O. number, invoice address, tuition, approval signature, contact name, email address and phone number.

GROUP DISCOUNTS
(Mail, fax or call in together. Online registration is not available.)
Tuition discounts are given to groups of 3 or more registering for the complete Conference. To qualify for the group discount, all registration information must be complete for all group members, payment included and forms sent together. If faxing, list all group members on cover sheet. Subtract the discount from the tuition fee. Groups may not be formed after individual registrations are received.
$25 per person discount for 3 or 4 in a group
$45 per person discount for 5 or more in a group

PARTIAL ATTENDANCE
(Online registration is not available.) To register, call Contemporary Forums for tuition and CE credit for individual days. Group discounts do not apply. Registrations may not be shared.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations may be made by phone or in writing. Cancellations received on/before June 17 receive a full tuition refund. Cancellations received after June 17 are assessed a $20 processing fee. No refunds for cancellations received after the conference begins or for "no shows." If this meeting is cancelled for any reason, including labor strikes or acts of God, liability is limited to a full refund of registration fees. CANCEL ON/BEFORE JUNE 17 to receive a full refund.

A WELCOME RECEPTION will be held on Saturday afternoon, July 27, from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Join us for early registration and to enjoy a glass of wine or a soft drink and complimentary hors d'oeuvres. TRAVEL OPTIONS
Salt Lake City is approximately 5 hours driving time (not including stops) from Jackson Hole, and Idaho Falls is approximately 3 hours.
You may want to consider flying into either of these cities and renting a car.
Flights to these cities may be more available and less expensive than flying directly to Jackson Hole.

TAXI SERVICE from Jackson Hole Airport to the Snow King Resort is approximately $30.00 for one or two people. An extra passenger charge will apply for three or more passengers. There are usually a few taxis waiting outside baggage claim; however, if you will be arriving later in the evening, it is recommended that you call ahead for a reservation to ensure a cab will be readily available. The driver will meet you outside the baggage claim area. There are a number of cab companies in the area; following are the numbers for a few of them: Avalanche Taxi (307-713-8194); Buckboard Taxi (307-733-1112); Bullseye Taxi (307-730-5000).

PARKING is available at Snow King Resort free of charge.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE HOTEL:
From Jackson Hole Airport: Turn right onto Highway 89. Continue on Highway 89 all the way to the Town Square (look for the elk antler arches). Do not turn off the highway once you are in the Town of Jackson; Highway 89 becomes Cache Street once you enter the city limits. Stay in the left lane and drive straight through the intersection with the stoplight. Continue straight on Cache Street to Snow King Avenue (4-way stop sign). Turn left on Snow King Avenue and enter the Snow King parking lot at the top of the hill.

From Salt Lake City: Take I-15 North to Idaho Falls. From Idaho Falls go East on Highway 26 to Swan Valley. At Swan Valley turn left onto Highway 31 to Victor. At Victor, turn right onto ID 33 towards Jackson. (ID 33 becomes WY 22 at the Wyoming state line). Continue on ID 33 over the Teton Pass, through the town of Wilson, WY to Jackson, approximately 7 miles from Wilson. WY 22 ends at a stoplight in Jackson. Turn left onto W. Broadway and proceed to the Town Square (look for the elk antler arches). Turn right onto Cache Street and follow it to Snow King Avenue (4-way stop sign). Turn left on Snow King Avenue and enter the Snow King parking lot at the top of the hill.

Sudden mountain rainstorms are common. We suggest casual, layered, lightweight clothing for daytime, wet weather gear, a coat or jacket for evening. A light jacket or sweater is suggested for the conference sessions, as meeting rooms can be cool.
